Abby Tatro

About

Abby is a graduate of Marymount Manhattan college where she received the Gold Key honor in jazz dance. Her work spans contemporary, jazz, concert dance, and commercial performance. Credits include: CoreDance Contemporary, Tony Testa’s B1 and CNN’s New Year’s Eve Live. Abby’s nationally recognized choreography has been presented at the Joyce Theater, and within LIU’s Musical Theater Program. Drawing from her experience across many styles, Abby brings a deeply expressive approach to teaching. Her classes are rooted in classical foundations but driven by emotion, musicality, and storytelling—creating a supportive space where dancers are encouraged to connect to their artistry and express something meaningful every time they move.
